Job Responsibilities

  • Errorless execution and implementation of operational plans to leverage organization’s assets that can fully utilize manpower and improve profitability.
  • Assess assets & resources at disposal from time-to-time.
  • Assist in in-depth root cause analysis and drive all planned initiatives to achieve Operational Excellence.
  • Maintain an effective internal communication system to ensure that roles and responsibilities of all function & process owners are clearly defined and understood.
  • Drive business activities by liaising with all departments of the viz. Commercial, finance & Accounts, Human Resources, Marketing, Audits, Supply Chain Management, etc.
  • Coordinate daily production activities and delegate assignments to production personnel as per the production.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to include Merchandising, Sourcing, Technical Design and other production units to ensure all phases of division objectives from initial design to final product are being achieved.
  • Accumulate the CMT (Cut, Make & Trim) and productivity details for all new development styles based on garment sketch or samples and provide MT to merchandising department.
  • Monitor after order confirmation the evaluated garment is re-analyzed for better and economical methods to reduce the negotiated MT in order to stay in safe margin.
  • Monitor and suggest reduction ideas of SMV (Standard Minute Value) by construction simplification related to seam and method without affecting the actual appearance of sample.
  • Co-ordination with planning department for allocation of similar styles, capacity plan, line plan and factory monthly plan based on the history of line and factory efficiency.
  • Co-ordination with planning department for improving the pre- production activities.
  • Co-ordination with Factory manager for cut plan and finishing plan based on delivery priority.
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality control programmes as per QMS.
  • Ensure and monitor production and manpower efficiency as per the set parameter in QMS.
  • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Ensure equipment and tools are in good working order and available for use when required.
  • Attend and participate in regular production meetings.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities; Address conflicts of interest and provide solutions.

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in IPE, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile engineering

  • 2 to 4 year(s)

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Textile
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
